"I like this community, the people here are talented and funny. Like a tight-knit group. What I said during the argument was partially fueled by frustration, but some of it was true as well. I'm tired. Since August 2nd of 2023 I've been working on the Megathread. It was originally a Reddit post, a really bad one at that. It had grammar errors, missing info, straight up lies. Eventually I got sick of working on Reddit, with it's constant errors and some random editing issue. Not long after I moved to making a google document. During the development of this, Droid posted his own megathread, so bad that it's now an inside joke with moderators. When the google docs released, Pox1016 pinned the message on the Netflix Archive and I went nuts. The idea of me having any sort of high position in anything whatsoever was new to me. Later me, Droid and Riley started work on this website, after the gdoc started getting too long and confusing. Since then I've gotten it pinned on most MCSM communities. We started a discord server around the time we found the iOS S1 episodes and dug them out from the grave. It was small, barely peaking at 100 members. Then, after much trial, me and Droid, with the help of PAMAThinkingMachine, got in contact with Nathanyal - the founder and lead moderator of r/MinecraftStoryMode. It was crazy, we'd been trying for so long to get the site on the subreddit.

Then all of a sudden the Discord server skyrocketed. We flew past 200, hit 300, by the time I'm writing this we hit 400 members and in the span of two days we've gained almost 100 members, and are about to hit half a thousand people. It's crazy to me how I made this community from a Reddit post, and have helped so many people, even finding some lost media. Don't blame Dablice, I was going to have to make this announcement at some point. There was a time when we were doing multiple updates a week. The truth is that we cannot keep that up for that long, I cannot stay living online all the time while working and dealing with the usual high school work pile. The megathread will still be here, occasional updates will still happen and I will still be overseeing them. But the megathread is basically done anyway. All the versions of the game bar one are now found, and guides have been made for them.

TL;DR Although I did get in an argument with Dablice, it's not really her fault and it's mostly just that I've done everything I want to with the site. All the guides are there, all major versions are found. I have another upcoming project related to MCSM that I will also add to the megathread once it's done, but it's not going to be a big update like this one.

Note from Droid: 

The Megathread is not going away, it will remain public and me and our amazing editors will continue to make updates, just no more complete overhaul updates. We hope you all can understand, the burnout and a community full of children will do that. I used to look up on Pixel like some sort of higher power, and now we've become really good friends. I don't wanna get all sappy on a website about a 2015 Minecraft spinoff, but this community turned my life into something better. I was struggling with life and didn't have much to do than drone on in school and get yelled at. But then I played Story Mode again, and said "I wonder if this game has a subreddit", and the Story Mode community welcomed me with open arms. It has it's bad sides though. Sending people threats for not spoon feeding you information more than it already is is completely unacceptable. Although, the goods outweigh the bad, and we have some seriously talented people here, such as Pox and Wazzy. I hope we can continue to thrive and keep this community alive and well. ✌️

Now that all of this has been stated, I just wanted to make it clear that everyone here (Including myself) is very, very lucky to be in in the position that we are. Because if I had never become a moderator for r/MinecraftStoryMode, some of the things we see here in the community today either wouldn't exist or would have been very limited compared to what they are now. Me becoming a mod put all of this into motion. So, let's all take a minute to thank who should be thanked the most in this instance, u/Nathanyal. The founder and lead moderator for r/MinecraftStoryMode. He might not be as active as he wants to, but in his own words he was the first to make a MCSM sub by Season 1, Episode 2. He should be thanked the most. He not only created the largest gathering of MCSM fans on the internet, he also is the one that modded me in the first place. I believe he doesn't get enough praise for what he's done. Because he's the one who should be thanked more than anyone else in the MCSM community. I also believe that the Megathread will likely fall under new leadership in the coming months (Because of Pixel's retirement from the Megathread). Droid is a likely candidate, if he wishes to. But, we will see what happens.

Sure, I'm not the guy that takes things seriously. Sure, I'm not the guy that has good self-control and I certainly am not the guy to know what I can joke about. But if there's one thing that I try the very most, it's to be myself. I don't come on this platform to be respectable, caring or approving to many people. But I make sure to atleast be myself, and atleast remind myself that when bad happens, good always happens after it. I do like my friends very much, 95% of the reason that they accept me for who I am. I want to personally thank all of my friends for willingly supporting that giant weight. For that, I will make sure that the MCSM community, alongside its subreddit and Megathread website live for as long as possible, in spirit. You guys are awesome, and I really couldn't wish for anyone different than y'all. May y'all guys live a long and happy life, I'll make sure y'all will.
